About

Mission
The mission of the Idaho Pedestrian and Bicycle Alliance is to promote walking, bicycling, and other forms of human-powered transportation as healthy, sustainable, reliable and viable options for all Idahoans.

Vision
We envision a transportation system throughout Idaho that supports and encourages walking,
bicycling, and other human-powered transportation as a choice in our daily lives.

We envision a seamless network of infrastructure including streets, sidewalks, and shared-use paths providing safe and convenient non-motorized transportation options for all people.
We envision transportation planning decisions which incorporate human-powered (“active”) modes of transportation at the state, regional, and local levels.
We envision a transportation financing system in which bicycle and pedestrian transportation receive a fair and equitable share of funding.
We envision a comprehensive program of support for active transportation at the state level encompassing the 4 Es–Engineering, Education, Encouragement and Enforcement.
